Anglesey (also known as Ynys Môn) is 720 square miles making it the largest Welsh island, with 125 miles of coastline. 70% of the population speak Welsh, meaning Anglesey has the second highest percentage of native Welsh language speakers in Wales.
Anglesey are one of the 15 founding members of the Island Games, however have never hosted the games.
