Sark has an area of 5.45km squared and a population of around 600 people, meaning that usually when they compete in sports events they are individual events rather than groups, however the Sark national football team has competed in the Island Games.

Sark first took part in the Island Games in 1987, they then didn't take part in 1989, however have competed in all the Island Games since then.
